Battlestar Galactica: The Story So Far to air soon

NBC Universal will shortly begin distributing "The Story So Far," a 45 minute special that recaps what has happened in the first two seasons of Battlestar Galactica and will be narrated by Mary McDonnell. They'll distribute it by nearly every means you can think of and probably some you wouldn't (they're giving it away at Universal theme parks?).

Some lucky fans will get to see it as early as this Sunday night, when NBC broadcasts it at 10pm on the West coast after football. (Someone better record it for the rest of us!)

It will become available free On-Demand on August 28th for those that have access to that cable service, but if not, it will air nationally on Friday, September 15 at 12 am on USA.

For a full schedule of airings and list of the ways the special will be distributed (at least 8!), see these articles:

  1. Hi Jams,

I really appreciate the offer and I may take you up on it. But I also imagine it'll appear online for download fairly quickly on YouTube or elsewhere. So you may not have to go to the trouble of sending it on VHS.

They're crazy not to release it online just after airing it on NBC. Inevitably someone will post it online and then they'll have people watching a lower quality copy of something they intend to release for free online a few weeks later. I guess only current fans would seek such a thing out early, but still.

Thanks so much though. Let me know if you successfully record it.

    Cheers,
    Justine :)
