More Haven and Human Target Screen Caps

My fellow admin Bertha has made a wonderful set of screen caps from Tahmoh's recent appearance in Haven. See all them at our Flickr site - clicking the picture below will take you there.

LiveJournal user Dragonlady981, who is also the admin of Tahmoh Daily (if you're on LJ, you should join this community), capped Tahmoh's scenes in Human Target. Check them out here at her journal. Be sure to get her permission before reposting or using the images in fanart.

Human Target, Japan, and Jabberwocky

Tahmoh's episode of Human Target aired on November 17. His time on the screen was a little too short, in my opinion, but it was great to see him in a show. Bertha snapped some screen shots, which are decorating this page. The rest will be on the flickr page soon.

Tahmoh has answered some more questions submitted by readers. I'll be posting them over the next week or so. Thanks to Bertha for help with prepping these posts.

I'd like to know what Tahmoh thought about Japan, and where he went while there?
I've been to Japan twice now. Both times I was in Tokyo. I absolutely love it there. The energy, pace and size of the city is really infectious and once you get on the ride there's no stopping.

The first time that I went, I was there with seven close friends. A couple of them were photographers and working there, but the rest of us were there to experience Tokyo and watch an excellent producer friend of ours play at a live event.

The second time I visited, I was watching a friend fight for the MMA [mixed martial arts] organization, Dream. It's always been a dream of mine to see a live Japanese Martial Arts event, and to have a good friend fighting was an opportunity I jumped at. I went with two other close friends and we had one of the best times I’ve ever had traveling. We met some of the best fighters from around the world, walked our friend out to his corner for the match and had excellent seats for the event.

I love Japanese food and definitely indulged both times I’ve visited. The art, culture and architecture are fascinating.

It amazes me how many Westerners I meet in Tokyo have never left. They came years ago to teach English or for a short period, ended up falling in love with the city and stayed. I can see why. They have a saying that if you love Tokyo, Tokyo will love you back. I can attest that this is true!

The next time I go, I hope to go and train there.

IMDB now lists Jabberwocky among Tahmoh's credits. After a bit of digging on the internet, I was able to confirm that this is indeed the "dragon slayer movie" that Tahmoh recently filmed in Bulgaria. For more about the film see A News Online. You can read the Lewis Carroll poem here.

Human Target Premiere Now November 17?

Various sources on Twitter and Facebook are reporting that FOX has moved the Human Target second season premiere - and Tahmoh's episode - to Wednesday, November 17. FOX's Human Target website and schedule still say Friday. I'll update as soon as I read something official.

ETA: Thanks to reader McDaniel for this IGN link to more info on the delayed premiere of Human Target

Early Review of Human Target 2.01

Short post to point you to this early review (beware of spoilers) of Human Target episode 2.01 "Ilsa Pucci", guest starring Tahmoh as "Pete" and described here as Ilsa's "right-hand man." Perhaps the guy in the background of the preview linked here is Tahmoh? Tune in to Fox, October 1 at 8:00 ET/7:00 CT to find out!

Just for fun, this old NPR blog post showed up in my Google Alerts, and I can't figure out if we posted a link to it before. Just in case we missed it, here's Tahmoh - and Joss Whedon - trying to figure out just why Dollhouse was presented at the New York Comic Con in 2009.

Human Target and FanExpo Vids

Fox has released a teaser for Season 2 of Human Target. Tahmoh appears in the season opener, which premiers October 1 at 8/7 Central. However, the jury is out on whether the security guy lurking in the background of this vid is Tahmoh or not. Check out the video here. It starts after a commercial and introduction by John Francis Daley and David Boreanaz.

Reader Genoka found this video of Tahmoh from Fan Expo.

Fan Expo Pics, Reports, and More

Fan Expo looks and sounds like a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone who sent us con reports or gave us permission to link to their pictures. Note that all pics are the property of their posters. Do not repost or use in fanart without first contacting them.

Doug Mann of The Mark posted a detailed con report. He shared this exchange with Tahmoh:

I asked Penikett in his Q-and-A session about the attitude of the Canadian actors who worked on both the grimly realistic Battlestar and more fantastic shows such as Smallville: were they struck by the differences, or was it just another job? He replied that even the Battlestar miniseries was “badass,” and that it “broke that stereotypical mold about what a sci-fi show is.”
Click here for more on Tahmoh and the full con report.

Geekstalt posted this pic of Tahmoh to Flickr (original here).

He later posted this second pic, "Because the moment I post a picture of him, the internet goes wild and I receive e-mails asking for more. I didn't realize he was this popular!" (original here)

AATP reader Mari went to Fan Expo to celebrate her birthday. She got to chat with Tahmoh a couple times, including sharing a great exchange about books written by Dominican Republic authors. Here are a few exerts of her report (Mari, I tried not too get too personal!)
Tahmoh: Oh, you're Dominican! Then you must've read In the Time of the Butterflies
Mari: I haven't yet.
Tahmoh: Oh it's great. Or Oscar Wao. It's dark and historic.
Mari: I haven't read it yet either and it's on my list of books to read. I've been told it's Lord of the Rings meets Dominican history.
Tahmoh: (makes a face) Mmm, naah. But it's definitely dark. You know it's a Pulitzer Prize winner, right?
Mari: I do, I own it I just haven't read it.
They also discussed the book Dead Awakening before Tahmoh wished her safe travels and she moved on so as not to hold up the line for autographs. [Edit: In the comments Mari gives an udpate on the title and author: Dead Man in Paradise by J.B. MacKinnon]

See more pics and con reports at the following:
Rambling Russ posted this audio that includes an interview with Tahmoh. Tahmoh "appears" at about the 9:00 minute mark. Thanks to Michelle at the Tahmoh Penikett Facebook fan page and Mari for the links.

Finally, SpoilerTV gives us the name of Tahmoh's character on Human Target, but little else on his role. Of course spoilers for Human Target 2.01 "Ilsa Pucci". (Edit: forgot to mention that their info comes from the Fox Press Release. As of 9/12, Futon Critic and others had also reported the same.)

Human Target

The rumors started by Korbi at Give Me My Remote are true. Tahmoh will guest star on Fox's Human Target. He filmed the episode early in August. Give Me My Remote reports that Tahmoh will appear in the first episode, which airs in the United States October 1 at 8:00 pm. We'll fill you in as we learn more about the role.
