The producers of Riftworld are inviting fans to design the official poster for the series! Tahmoh, Erin Karpluk and Jonathan Williams (the creator/director of Riftworld) will judge the entries. Riftworld Chronicles - masterpost

Great news! Riftworld Chronicles has now been released! If you're in the US, ConTV Channel has the entire series (8 episodes worth) on their website. CBC Punchline has also made the episodes available on their YouTube channel, and this is accessible to international audiences.

Tahmoh (as well as co-star Erin Karpluk) has been doing a flurry of press from last weekend's San Diego Comic Con, and in the lead-up to Riftworld's release, so I'm including them as a masterpost here, so keep checking back for new podcasts and interviews if/when they become available.

Riftworld Chronicles crowdfunding campaign

 

Recently we posted that The Portal as shooting the first season of the webseries, Riftworld Chronicles in Toronto. Yesterday, the production studio, First Love Films, unveiled a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the post-production process of the series. Please do check out the campaign, and consider supporting them. And even if you don't end up backing the financially, I'm sure the producers would appreciate you sharing the link to the campaign. 

I know we've previously featured a crowdfunding campaign for a film that didn't end up going anywhere (for which we're sorry, but it was unfortunately one of those things that didn't work out) but the conditions to Riftworld Chronicles is different. For a start, the 1st season of the webseries has already been shot (and this is detailed very explicitly on the Kickstarter page). The funds they're raising right now will go into post-production work such as sound, graphics and title/end sequences. So take a look! And here's a tweet from Tahmoh about the support the campaign has been receiving thus far: 

 

Riftworld Chronicles shooting in Toronto

Riftworld Chronicles, the web series based on the short film, The Portal (which you can now watch when you sign up on the official website) is currently shooting in Toronto. The producers have been sharing a lot of behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, so if you're on social media, make sure you follow @riftworldseries and @firstlove_films on Twitter and Riftworld on Instagram!

The Portal/Riftworld Chronicles

 As an exclusive to fans who have been eagerly waiting for the release of the short, First Love Films have made The Portal available prior to its public release. You can sign up to get a code to watch film here: http://www.riftworldchronicles.com/
