More Haven and Human Target Screen Caps

My fellow admin Bertha has made a wonderful set of screen caps from Tahmoh's recent appearance in Haven. See all them at our Flickr site - clicking the picture below will take you there.

LiveJournal user Dragonlady981, who is also the admin of Tahmoh Daily (if you're on LJ, you should join this community), capped Tahmoh's scenes in Human Target. Check them out here at her journal. Be sure to get her permission before reposting or using the images in fanart.

Update with latest video, interviews, pics of Tahmoh

If this surge of press continues, to keep up I'm going to need a minion, er... assistant. If interested, email me. Update: Minion found! Now on to your Tahmoh news update:

Next Friday, Feb. 13, Dollhouse premieres right before Battlestar, as Tahmoh himself jokes, "It's a big night for me. I guess I'm on two shows!"

THIS weekend, Tahmoh will be in New York City with Joss Whedon for NYC Comic Con:

"Tahmoh will be speaking at the Dollhouse panel from 12:45 to 1:45 PM on Feb 8 in the IGN Theater as well as signing beside Joss at the autograph signing from 2 to 3 PM in the Autograph Area in the rear of the Exhibition Hall."
In other con news, Tahmoh will be at Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle on April 4-5, and here's a partial transcript of Tahmoh's appearance at Battlestar Starfury (London).

Access Hollywood interviewed Tahmoh in a charity gifting suite:

How awesome has Battlestar been of late?

If you're feeling sad about the end of the show, tracy_loo_who has scanned the cast's farewell letters, including Tahmoh's. Sad, but sweet.

Now on to Dollhouse, including this new promo pic of Paul from episode 1:

There's a short summary of the second episode, "The Target," here.

Sci-fi Wire
interviews Tahmoh about Dollhouse.

New "Jossverse" video on the official FOX site: How to pronounce Tahmoh.

Dollverse: More fun with pronunciation. The whole cast weighs in on how to say their names.

Dollverse podcast has more on the show and with the cast. They also have the details on the shooting versus airing order for the first season episodes.

SpoilerTV has 4 clips from the premiere, the last one with Tahmoh:

LA Times interviews Whedon about the set and has a photo gallery.

Daily Beast speaks to Joss about Dollhouse, the networks and the Internet.

Reviews of Dollhouse: News-Journal Online, TV Overmind, TIME

All about Tahmoh was named one of the top 100 best Sci-fi blogs, so yah!

UPDATE: FOX posts video from the Dollhouse photoshoot.

EW interviews Joss, Tahmoh & Eliza at Comic Con

Entertainment Weekly has a great video interview with the Dollhouse gang from Comic Con: Joss Whedon, Eliza Dushku and Tahmoh. You can watch it here. Some screencaps:

They also have posted an excellent recap of the Dollhouse panel:

"What with reconceiving and reshooting the show's pilot, Joss Whedon didn't have much to present to the Dollhouse panel observers at Comic-Con on Saturday, other than an extended trailer for the Fox show (which debuts in January). But one thing about the new sci-fi/action show was certainly made clear: Man, do its stars have chemistry!...

For what it's worth, the sci fi auteur seems pleased with the new material and expounded on it at length, noting "it felt organic. It felt right -- which I can tell you the [original pilot] kind of didn't. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I did some things that weren't right for the network. That's on me.... Also, I made the vital mistake of not giving Tahmoh shirtless scenes. That has been rectified."

The video includes some footage from a photoshoot, so look for more photos of Tahmoh et al. in Entertainment Weekly soon!

Galactica roundup: Screencaps, reviews, & analysis

Thanks to Katee, Chamalla and MaliB on the Sci-fi boards for their screencaps of Helo in the last two episodes of Galactica. I've uploaded them to separate episode galleries on the all.about.tahmoh Flickr: 4x09 - The Hub, 4x10 - Revelations.

I loved the midseason finale, "Revelations," which made up for my ambivalence over "The Hub" and hatred for "Sine Qua Non." I find myself largely in agreement with Alan Sepinwall's excellent reviews of the episodes: "Sine Qua Non", "The Hub", "Revelations".

For more terrific insight, be sure to check out Shandy's analysis and picspam of all of Helo's friendships over the past four seasons.

Speaking of picspams, here's a nice BSG Father's Day tribute.

Tahmoh appears briefly in a recent videoblog, "Are you Frakin' Kidding Me?!," (below) though his appearance might be considered somewhat spoilery for future eps, unless there's an episode I'm forgetting. There's also a clip of a scene on Galactica in the newest videoblog, "I'm a frakkin' Cylon?", 20 seconds from the end that includes Helo and seems potentially spoilery.

Finally, thanks to Mexichick for this photo of Tahmoh checking out the album that fans sent to the show in the aftermath of the strike:

Screencaps of Tahmoh’s cameo in Robson Arms

Thanks to Chamalla for these screencaps of Tahmoh's cameo on Monday night's episode of the Canadian series, Robson Arms, where he gallantly comes to the rescue with an umbrella. In the episode, titled "Positivity" (3.04), Tahmoh is said to be one of the stars of "Battlestar Metallica" and has a Whistler-esque headshot to show for it.

See a couple more shots from the episode over at the all.about.tahmoh flickr.

Cameo by Tahmoh in tonight’s Robson Arms (CTV)

Tahmoh will make a cameo appearance as himself in tonight's episode of Robson Arms, a CTV series shot in Vancouver. There's an interview with one of the show's stars Alisen Down (Jean Barolay on Battlestar) on CTV's website:

In the episode, "Positivity," which airs Monday, May 5 at 9:30 p.m. ET, the normally caustic Sault Ste. Marie (Alisen Down) discovers the power of positive thinking and tries to turn her life around.

Down has a long list of acting credits to her name, including roles on "Stargate," "Smallville" and "Battlestar Galactica." Down also won a Gemini and a Leo for her appearance on "Cold Squad."

In "Positivity," Sault even gives a shout-out to Down's former series when she fawns over "Battlestar" actor Tahmoh Penikett as an act of wishful thinking.

"It's the best made sci-fi show ever," gushes Down. "I think it's really well made and the actors are incredible."
Any Canadian fans who could record it, please contact me.

To read what Tahmoh has said about his appearance on the show, see this earlier post (though beware, it contains spoilers for the episode).

Screencaps of Tahmoh in Wildfire 7 (2002)

Early in his career, Tahmoh played a park ranger in the forest fire-fighting movie, Wildfire 7. It's available on DVD via Amazon. I've made screencaps of Tahmoh's five scenes in the movie, which you can see over at the site's Flickr.

Screencaps of Tahmoh in Trapped Ashes (2006)

I've posted more than 250 screencaps of Tahmoh's scenes in the horror anthology Trapped Ashes. It was released on DVD in Germany this past Friday (see cover art below) and will hit US shelves early this summer. Looks like a must-see!

Spoiler Warning: The screencaps give away key plot points,
so don't look if you want to be surprised!

PS: If you'd like to help finance the site buying the US version of the Trapped Ashes DVD when it comes out, consider buying your copy of the Battlestar Season 3 DVDs--now coming out a week earlier!--by clicking one of the Amazon links in the right sidebar (the site gets 5% of your purchase price at no additional cost to you).

Elias returns in season finale of Whistler!

For those following Tahmoh's guest arc as Elias Noth on the Canadian drama, Whistler, his character returned in the show's season finale (2x13 - "Last Run") on Saturday. I've uploaded screencaps of his scenes to the site's Flickr.

See screencaps of Elias from previous Whistler episodes here. Canadian fans can watch the episode online at the CTV website.

See the rest of the screencaps!

Looks like we'll have to help lobby to get Whistler renewed for a third season!
