If this surge of press continues, to keep up I'm going to need a minion, er... assistant. If interested, email me. Update: Minion found! Now on to your Tahmoh news update:
Next Friday, Feb. 13, Dollhouse premieres right before Battlestar, as Tahmoh himself jokes, "It's a big night for me. I guess I'm on two shows!"
THIS weekend, Tahmoh will be in New York City with Joss Whedon for NYC Comic Con:
"Tahmoh will be speaking at the Dollhouse panel from 12:45 to 1:45 PM on Feb 8 in the IGN Theater as well as signing beside Joss at the autograph signing from 2 to 3 PM in the Autograph Area in the rear of the Exhibition Hall."In other con news, Tahmoh will be at Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle on April 4-5, and here's a partial transcript of Tahmoh's appearance at Battlestar Starfury (London).
There's a short summary of the second episode, "The Target," here.
New "Jossverse" video on the official FOX site: How to pronounce Tahmoh.
Dollverse: More fun with pronunciation. The whole cast weighs in on how to say their names.
LA Times interviews Whedon about the set and has a photo gallery.

The crazy volume of press continues with more exclusive interviews, videos, photos and clips. First a promotional photo from Friday's Galactica premiere:
According to Ron Moore's podcast, apparently that scene with Helo, Hera and Sharon was almost cut.
Find out all you wanted to know about behind-the-scenes filming that episode, thanks to Maureen Ryan of the Chicago Tribune who speaks with Ron Moore, the writers and the director.
Sci-fi Wire: The Battlestar cast on their favorite moments from the series.
Tahmoh Penikett:
Nice moment from Michael Trucco (Anders):"When you get on a new series with someone like Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell, there's a lot of nerves involved in the beginning. I was green at the time. You're in your head quite a lot. I'm sure Grace [Park] would say the same thing. We were both in the same position. You know, feeling a lot of pressure," says Penikett. "We've got Eddie directing the episode, and he's got complete confidence, and he's just laughing and he's super excited, and I just had this real moment where I'm like, 'Holy crap! I'm sitting here on a new series and I've got Edward James Olmos taking to me like a little kid, and he's so excited about doing this scene with me.' It was a huge moment for me, because one of my favorite films is Blade Runner. I remember seeing that when I was a little kid with my dad, and I remember being so moved by Eddie more than anything else. Even as a little kid I was like, 'Who is that guy? I want to know more about him.' He was completely compelling and interesting. I've been a fan of his ever since. And then to come full circle and finally be working with the man was a huge moment for me."
"One of my fondest memories from this series came in my first week on set way back in early season two," says Trucco. "After about three or four days of shooting on location in the forest, I had become fairly comfortable and close with Katee and Grace and Tahmoh. We all hit it off almost immediately. The four of us just gelled, and Tahmoh and I have very similar senses of humor, so we'd riff off each other at the drop of a hat. And one afternoon on set between setups I was sitting in one of the cast chairs next to Grace, and she looked over at me and said, 'It feels like you've been here since the beginning. ... I think they should keep you around.' Who knew then that that would eventually be the case? That meant a lot to me in that moment, and I've never forgotten it since."FOX has posted the infamous "Wallhouse" moment--aka Tahmoh's first scene on Dollhouse--to their newly redesigned Dollhouse website. The new site includes a character bio for Paul Ballard and new actor bio for Tahmoh.
Here's the Paul character bio:
"Paul Ballard is an FBI agent assigned to the dead-end case designated "Dollhouse." He believes the Dollhouse is a secret and powerful human trafficking operation. Everyone else at the FBI and otherwise believes it's an urban legend. But the ridicule only feeds Paul's obsession with the Dollhouse and it's occupants. Specifically, one occupant - Echo, whom he believes in her former life to have been a girl named Caroline."Zap2it: Exclusive interview with Tahmoh, "Helo speaks: Chatting with 'Battlestar Galactica's' Tahmoh Penikett"
"Some of the best scenes I've had with Grace [Park, who plays Sharon] are actually in this last season. There was some incredible work, really great storylines -- it's really going to blow fans away."TV Addict: Exclusive interview with Tahmoh about Dollhouse and Battlestar.
Would it be safe to say that Paul has a personal connection to someone in the Dollhouse?Sky1 interviews Tahmoh about Battlestar [~ 5 min. video]:
"There’s definitely potential for that. But we all know Joss Whedon. Perhaps in our second or third season it will come out that Paul and Echo knew each other at a certain point. Or what I’d like to say and I don’t often share my choices, is that I think Paul suffered some loss in the past and that something in this girl (Echo) reminds him of that. Something happened in his life that makes him set on helping those in distress, especially females. There is something with this girl that changes everything and motivates him even more."
Access Hollywood interviewed Eliza Dushku, Dichen Lachman, Fran Kranz and Tahmoh briefly at the TCAs:

TV Guide Q & A with Eliza Dushku, mentions Tahmoh's character:
Does Echo get into any serious scrapes? [highlight to read spoiler]Tahmoh Penikett [of Battlestar Galactica] plays FBI agent Paul Ballard, and he’s been investigating the dollhouse for years. He and I just shot a four-page Muay Thai [boxing] , dirty fight scene- I still have bruises.

Helo will be on the cover of the Galactica Role-Playing Game:
"It's great, being in Dollhouse with Tahmoh," Shepherd said, thinking of the great camaraderie that exists on Joss Whedon shoots. "Just walking onto a set and him being there, Joss being there of course… A lot of fun for me ..."For the new Battlestar promos, see Galactica Sitrep. This one has Helo:

Tahmoh will star as Dwane, a mid-level drug dealer, in the upcoming independent film about meth, Run Rabbit Run.
Grace Park plays Hannah Moon, the sister of the lead character. Here's the official synopsis:
Terry King is not just another entrepreneurial young man. He cooks crystal meth in a garage. His brother, Jay, is his legman, hustling the drug to his network of misfits and social castaways. Terry doesn't use, but Jay does. He thinks he's in control. When Jay meets an idealistic young film student named Paul Moon, he convinces him that meth should become Paul's drug of choice. A chaotic weekend follows, and Paul descends into madness. His life, and those of the people he meets, will never be the same. The blog for the film reports they finished a preliminary cut in March.
A long trailer for the film on YouTube includes two scenes with Tahmoh (NSFW for all the reasons you would imagine in a movie about meth):
A few more short video clips are also available on the website. The photo section has quite a few stills and behind-the-scenes shots with Tahmoh.
Here are some more screencaps, stills and behind-the-scenes shots:

Thanks to Katee, Chamalla and MaliB on the Sci-fi boards for their screencaps of Helo in the last two episodes of Galactica. I've uploaded them to separate episode galleries on the all.about.tahmoh Flickr: 4x09 - The Hub, 4x10 - Revelations.
I loved the midseason finale, "Revelations," which made up for my ambivalence over "The Hub" and hatred for "Sine Qua Non." I find myself largely in agreement with Alan Sepinwall's excellent reviews of the episodes: "Sine Qua Non", "The Hub", "Revelations".
For more terrific insight, be sure to check out Shandy's analysis and picspam of all of Helo's friendships over the past four seasons.
Speaking of picspams, here's a nice BSG Father's Day tribute.
Tahmoh appears briefly in a recent videoblog, "Are you Frakin' Kidding Me?!," (below) though his appearance might be considered somewhat spoilery for future eps, unless there's an episode I'm forgetting. There's also a clip of a scene on Galactica in the newest videoblog, "I'm a frakkin' Cylon?", 20 seconds from the end that includes Helo and seems potentially spoilery.

The positive buzz for Joss Whedon's Fox series Dollhouse continues, with this breathless entry from Entertainment Weekly's blog, Pop Watch:
Dollhouse will touch on all of the things that enrich the soul of the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly. Drop-dead-gorgeous female hero? Check. Her search for identity and purpose while carrying out a specific mission (or, in this case, the specific mission-of-the-week)? Done. Disparate people banding together to forge a family out of isolation? In there. Skillfully twisted dialogue that's both catchy and revealing? Boom. Lots of the kicking of ass? Youbetcha. As for the promised behind-the-scenes look, if you're curious about Dollhouse, you simply must go check out the 20 photos of the main set for the show that have been posted to Dollverse.com.
Is watching Eliza Dushku's Echo have a different persona implanted on her each week, while searching for the truths of who she really is and how she got stuck in "the Dollhouse," something you're up for? (And does the prospect of Battlestar Galactica's Tahmoh Penikett — as a federal agent on her trail — taking his shirt off sweeten the deal?) I've already got my TiVo primed...how about you?
Very warm, earth tones with a Zen quality--simply stunning and huge! As the outsider FBI agent in the story, Tahmoh's character Paul Smith presumably won't be spending a lot of time on set, but Tahmoh should be used to that from the first season of Battlestar.
