I promise. I haven't abandoned All About Tahmoh Penikett. The news has been a bit slow and summer has been a bit busy so I've not posted in a while. I'm hoping to grab some screen caps from The Killing in the next couple weeks. Keep your fingers crossed - we may even have a few surprises to share. For now...

Netflix Subscribers can stream many of Tahmoh's earlier movies and television series, including the following (I'll update the list as I find more or they become available):
Just because I can, I'm reposting the flickr link to screen caps Justine took of Tahmoh as Elias Noth in Whistler, which is my all-time favorite Tahmoh role. I don't know any place you can still legally watch Whistler, so these pictures are all I can share until (if?) it becomes available.

This has only happened to me a few times, including with my character of Helo on Battlestar, which is when I first read the [audition] sides for the character of Matt in Riverworld I thought, ‘I understand this guy; I know where he’s coming from,’” says Penikett. When the pieces fall together like that, you’ve got to trust your instincts, so I was really eager to get into the audition room.
I met with [Riverworld director] Stuart Gillard and, honestly, I was a bit rusty as far as the audition process goes. You can be a professional actor who has been working all year long, which I’d been, but if it’s been a while since your last audition it can feel a little weird. So in this instance I had a couple of rough starts, but I subsequently worked on three scenes with Stuart and he seemed pleased with what I’d done.
The Green Chain DVD was launched on Earth Day, April 22. Read more here.
Riverworld airs tomorrow, Sunday, April 18, 7:00 pm Eastern, in the US on Syfy.
Tahmoh talked to Suzanne Simons of CNN.com a couple of weeks ago. She and Tahmoh debated the most important point of the miniseries.
A couple of weeks ago, he tried to convince me that the love story was key.... To me, the message was about the endless search for meaning in a world where people are perpetually reincarnated and plopped right back along the riverbank without really knowing how or even why.... "I think the point you make is probably the most important in the miniseries or at least the one thing that anyone who's arrived on Riverworld is trying to figure out," Penikett said. "Why are they there? Have they been chosen to make amends for past mistakes? Does everyone on the planet share similar mistakes, and by whose standards, laws or religions are they judged by?"
Dennys Ilic has posted his BSG Final Days video in two parts on You Tube.

Some people may have seen a leaked version of this video or screen shots taken from it (see story here). Dennys will soon release a BSG Final Days book of the photographs he took around the same time he shot the video. Join his Facebook group to receive regular updates, and we'll be there to let you know here when the book is available.
Fancast reports that Tahmoh had a part in Stephen Spielberg Presents Taken, aired in 2002 on what was then SciFi. We'd love some caps to confirm this, if anyone has the DVDs!
The Syfy Channel has confirmed that Riverworld will air on Sunday, April 18, with Part One debuting at 7:00 pm followed by Part Two at 9:00 pm, and then reairing immediately after. Edit: Link here to the official press release.
The Hostage writer and director Brent Cote has created a website for his production company Endure Entertainment. The site includes the following synopsis of The Hostage.
A hostage (Aleks Paunovic – Personal Effects, Caprica) wakes in a dark, cold concrete room, coming face to face with his captor (Tahmoh Penikett – Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse). In this room, nothing is as it seems and a mystery unfolds with every torturous action, every deliberate question and every terrified breath. The hostage’s will is put to the ultimate test by his sadistic captor, who will stop at nothing to uncover the powerful secret the hostage professes not to know. Is it a case of mistaken identity, a game of cat and mouse, or an old fashioned clash of wills… One thing is certain, neither will ever see their world the same again and the screams within the four concrete walls will never be forgotten.
The site lists the entire cast and crew, posts behind the scenes photos and production stills, and promises a trailer on March 10.
You can become a fan of Endure Entertainment on Facebook or follow Brent on Twitter. Thanks to Bertha for the tip!
The Futon Critic is reporting that SyFy has scheduled Riverworld for Sunday, April 18.
The four-hour event will fill the night with part one at 7:00/6:00c and part two at 9:00/8:00c, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.
RHI Entertainment - the people behind Riverworld - have released a new and improved trailer for the movie, to be shown on SyFy on a yet-to-be-determined date in 2010.
Fans of Dollhouse organized an appreciation party for the cast and crew of the show. Bobw1o attended the appreciation party and had this to say about Tahmoh.
Know that Tahmoh, along with the rest of the cast, was super friendly. He introduced himself to me and was very gracious about the fans doing this. When I brought up having the binder signed by the cast for the person who organized it, he was one of the first to agree it was a great idea and to grab the marker.
rebelliousrose at the TahmohPenikett and Grace ParkfansiteAcross the Saltand meshel at the LiveJournal community Battlestar_Blog pulled together pictures of Tahmoh, Katee Sackhoff, and Tricia Helfer at "Fur Ball at the Skirball" a fundraiser for Kitten Rescue, a charity Tricia works with regularly. Looking ahead to the New Year, Fox has released promo pics of Dollhouse episodes 2.11 "Getting Closer" and 2.12 "Hollow Men". Tahmoh appears in a few of the pics for "Hollow Men", but beware of spoilers.
It's Dollhouse day, so here are some photos of Tahmoh--some more recent than others. Also an older interview with Miracle Laurie that mentions Tahmoh and Season 2. New Dollhouse Season 2 promo-shot of Paul:

Check out the movie's website, including the trailer, in which Tahmoh briefly appears. The movie also stars Brian Cox and Anna Paquin, among others, and was produced, written, and directed by Michael Dougherty. IGN review here.
Rebelliousrose also sent us a link she found on Youtube. The video features Enver Gjokaj, Dichen Lachman, Joss Whedon and the cast of Glee, but Tahmoh makes a surprise appearance at about the 1:00 mark.

Finally, a long article in CinemaSpy about The Green Chain that focuses on Tricia Helfer and Tahmoh.
So it's been a while, but things have been fairly quiet. Riverworld has wrapped. Dollhouse starts filming at the end of July. Here's what's been happening:
