The music of Battlestar Galactica

Bear McCreary, the composer of BSG, has posted two new interviews onto his website. The first, "Creating the New Sound of Battlestar Galactica" is a long, really interesting interview from TheLogBook.com.

When asked if any changes are in store for Battlestar Galactica's opening titles and music (along the lines of Babylon 5's annual main title changes), McCreary revealed that he doesn't know just yet:

"I have no idea. I could see them doing that, though, because there is a much larger storyline, each season will probably take on its own character and its own tone. Season one was about the aftermath of the miniseries, and season two deals much more with heavier personal tragedies happening to these people."
The second interview, "Visions in Sound: The Music of Bear McCreary" is a radio interview with CKMS 100.3FM. It includes interview clips and clips from the show's soundtrack, including "Helo Chase."

Remember La-La Land Records is taking pre-orders for Battlestar Galactica: Season One soundtrack through their web site , and pre-ordered copies will be autographed by Bear McCreary himself (the CD will be available in June).

Thanks to Sci-fi for pointing these out.
