Tahmoh to attend 2006 Vancouver Con

According to Timeless Destinations (formerly Gatecon), Tahmoh has agreed to appear next year at the convention along with several other BSG stars.

The convention will be held outside Vancouver from July 31 to August 6, 2006. So save that date. I may even be able to make it next year.

Their bio has some new info on Tahmoh I thought interesting:

Tahmoh Penikett, who plays "Lieutenant Karl 'Helo' Agathon" in the science fiction television series, Battlestar Galactica, and Noah Hamilton in the thriller movie Hush, wanted to be an actor since his boyhood in the YukonTerritory.

His first film appearance was in a scene with Kate Jackson in the CBS movie Cold Touch of a Killer. He went on to appear in a dozen independent short films and many television series, including Smallville, The L Word, Just Cause, Stargate, Dark Angel and Glory Days. In the seventh and final season of the Canadian police series Cold Squad, Tahmoh had a regular role as Constable Ray Chase.

A graduate of the Music Art Drama program at Yukon College, Tahmoh pursued his studies at the Victoria Film School and Vancouver's Lyric Theatre. Born in Whitehorse on May 20, 1975, he is a member of the White River First Nation. Tahmoh is named after a great uncle who was a hunter and trapper near the Yukon/Alaska border.
