Tahmoh to play "young Leo" in Trapped Ashes

As I previously announced, Tahmoh has been cast in the horror anthology, Trapped Ashes, which "spins tales of witches, parasites and other ghastly entities."

He will appear in Kubrick's Girlfriend as young Leo. The film has wrapped production, but the release date has yet to be set.

See the IMDB profile of Trapped Ashes.

Here's what the series writer, Dennis Bartok, had to say about the films:

FX-driven it may not be, but Bartok promises that Trapped Ashes won’t be a run-of-the-mill, homogenized horror film. “I don’t want to say too much and spoil the surprise, but the stories are all very wicked, erotic and extremely twisted,” he says.
Read more with Bartok over at Fangoria.

I have a strong aversion to horror films myself, so I'll be relying on other fans to report back about it.

  1. Okay, so how are they going to reconcile this: Tahmoh, at 6'3", plays young Leo and John Saxon, at 5'10", plays Leo. O_o Is the horror aspect that he gets his feet chopped off???

Of course, I still want to see Tahmoh in this... Or anything else, for that matter.

  2. Then you might be put in charge of watching this movie, 'cause the horror thing is scaring me a bit too.
