BSG Season 3 premiere to be 2 hours

According to Bear McCreary, the composer for Battlestar Galactica, the third season premiere will last two hours. He writes:

"The season premiere will air as a two hour movie... more intense than most films you pay to see in the darkened theater."

It's unclear whether the premiere is actually two parts or whether the first two episodes will just be aired consecutively (as they did with "33" and "Water" in Season 1). In any case, it's a great way to return from this too-long hiatus.

Look for the premiere on Friday, October 6th.
