Aleks Paunovic on The Hostage

Wendy Dallian of the Vancouver Observer recently interviewed Aleks Paunovic about acting, directing, and life. Aleks talked about The Hostage, a short movie produced by and starring Aleks and Tahmoh.

It's called The Hostage. You can't get any more emotional than that experience and the best thing about it, is that it was with some of my closest friends including Tahmoh and Brent. So with the trust that we had in there, and them being unbelievable actors and my best friends, we knew there were no boundaries and that we could go wherever necessary to get the performances we needed from each other. The trust that's involved is really rare when you're working with people you want to work with in that kind of a piece. It was by far one of the most visceral experiences I've ever had.
