Possible SAG strike would affect BSG

As the rumors are circulating widely of a threatened Screen Actor's Guild strike, here are some articles detailing the situation. The SAG is currently in contract negotions for made-for-cable shows, including "Monk," "The Closer," "The Shield," "Battlestar Galactica," "Wildfire" and "Nip/Tuck."

Of course, just because a strike has been authorized doesn't mean one will be called. In any case, with Battlestar not due to return until October some lee-way room seems to be built in.

Not sure how this might affect BSG either, but the British Columbia actor's guild (Union of British Columbia Performers) is also in the midst of contract renegotiations.
