Video Interview with Tahmoh about Battlestar Season 3

Thanks again to Michelle from Battlestar Blog, we have a new interview Tahmoh did for the Australian Channel 10 HD about Galactica's third season.

Tahmoh talks about how Helo feels about being replaced as XO by Tigh, why Helo isn't a big fan of radiation, what staying on Galactica meant for Helo while the rest of the crew was on New Caprica and where Helo's ultimate loyalties lie.

New high-res photos of Tahmoh at Emmys, on set

Thanks also to the terrific Michelle over at Battlestar Blog for tracking down some rare behind-the-scenes photos of the Battlestar cast on the set in Season 1. This photo of Tahmoh in the Helo flight suit was shot during the filming for Season 1's "Hand of God" in the heat of August. Here's the untagged thumbnail and larger tagged version:

At long last, NBC has released high-resolution promotional photos of the Battlestar cast for Season 4. Thanks to dryope, here are the ones featuring Tahmoh. Find even higher resolution versions here.

New interview with Tahmoh in Starburst #358

Steven Eramo has done another interview with Tahmoh for Starburst special issue #358 (Torchwood cover). In it, Tahmoh discusses Season 4, including Helo's feelings about Starbuck and relationship with Athena. He also reminisces about "The Woman King" and shares his thoughts about Battlestar ending this season. Enjoy! (Beware vague spoilers).

Short video interview with Tahmoh about BSG Season 3

Thanks to Michelle over at BattlestarBlog for the heads up that the Australian Channel 10 HD website has added more season 3 video interviews with the cast to their website. Tahmoh appears briefly in the second video, "Mary McDonnell - President Laura Roslin: Mary McDonnell talks about using bio-weapons to attempt to wipe out the cylons."

Although the video description says it's Mary McDonnell, Tahmoh and Grace Park also react to the proposed use of bioweapons.

Tahmoh to appear at convention in Mexico (March 8-9)

Tahmoh has signed on as the headlining guest at an upcoming comic and video game convention in Monterey, Mexico on March 7-9. Tahmoh's panel will be on Sunday from 3-4pm, but he'll be doing photos and signing autographs on both Saturday and Sunday.

2 Week Reminder: Design a new banner for the site!

Just a quick reminder, there are only 2 weeks remaining for all you graphically inclined fans out there to enter the new site banner contest.

To quote from the original announcement:

A few requirements... the banner should:

• Be at least 950 pixels wide; no more than 300 pixels tall.
• Work with the site's current color scheme.
• Include the site's name "All about Tahmoh Penikett".
• Include at least one picture of Tahmoh.
• Be a reasonable file size to keep dialup fans happy (under 500k).
• Not be tagged. You'll be credited on the site's front page, please leave tags out of the banner.

Tahmoh to appear at Dragon Con in Atlanta (Labor Day)

Dragon*Con 2008 has announced that Tahmoh will be one of the many guests at its Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1, 2008) convention in Atlanta, GA.

They've added a mini-bio for Tahmoh here. Leah Cairns and Richard Hatch are also scheduled to appear.

New TV interview with Tahmoh now on YouTube

Tahmoh recently appeared on the Canadian half-hour interview show, "People Uncut," where he spoke in depth about his background, family, and beliefs. The three 8-minute interview segments are all available on YouTube thanks to a tremendous effort by Lizardbeth and especially Sandra. Enjoy!

TV.com: Tahmoh Penikett is TV's "Hottest Actor"

Thanks to all the fans who helped make Tahmoh "The Hottest Actor on TV" in TV.com's "Best of 2007" Poll with more than six million votes!

He was up against other hot young stars, including Heroes' Milo Ventimiglia and Chuck's Zachary Levi:
